Throughout his legal career, Joe has actively practiced many different areas of law, including personal injury, medical malpractice, foreclosure defense, bankruptcy, family law, landlord/tenant disputes, breach of contract and debt negotiation.
For the last eight years, however, Joe has focused his practice strictly on personal injury and medical malpractice. He is responsible for resolving millions of dollars worth of injury cases for clients in nearly every aspect of tort law including slip and falls, auto negligence, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice, and intentional torts.
Joe is a member of the Florida Bar and Orange County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Trial Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar. Joe is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
Joe earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, where he was involved in various workshops and peer groups. It was during law school where Joe got his first real-world legal experience as an intern at a small firm specializing in family law, foreclosure defense, and personal injury. He interned there for his last year and a half of law school, which provided him with a solid foundation of the practice of law before he even graduated law school. Upon graduation, Joe immediately began working at a prominent personal injury and medical malpractice firm located in downtown Orlando. It was there where he gained invaluable experience in tort law, and began honing his aptitude in the practice of personal injury. He continued his legal career at another small, family-owned firm which specialized in personal injury, foreclosure defense, real estate and bankruptcy. Joe was fortunate to spend enough time there to learn the value of personalized relationships with clients, which is what he thrives to achieve with every client. This is an experience which is impossible to establish with larger, more impersonal firms. Joe has carried this client-centric approach to his own practice, where it has served many satisfied people.
Joe was raised in a small town in Pennsylvania where family values, hard work and morality were instilled in him at a young age. He worked himself through undergrad at Mansfield University in Pennsylvania. There, he was a four-year starter and captain of the football team. He was also on the Dean’s List all four years at Mansfield. He then played professional football overseas in Germany for one season in 2005 before focusing on his legal career. Working a weekend job throughout law school, as well as working an unpaid internship demonstrates Joe's diligent work ethic, and the lessons learned during his humble beginnings have stayed with him throughout his professional career. Joe brings these core values with him in his legal practice. He prides himself on providing interactive and attentive legal representation, and feels that all his clients deserve equal consideration in their legal matter, regardless of the potential value of the case. He understands that every case is the most important case for the clients he serves, so he treats all cases equal.
Joe currently lives in Orlando with his wife and daughter.
